MEET CADE!

Cade has always been drawn to the pursuit of strength. He spent nearly a decade immersed in the world of bodybuilding and powerlifting, finding joy in the discipline and structure of traditional weight training. But when the pandemic forced gyms to close, Cade’s training took a new direction. Armed with a copy of Overcoming Gravity and a pull-up bar, he began exploring calisthenics—first out of necessity, then out of passion. What started as push-ups and pull-ups in a small apartment evolved into a deep commitment to bodyweight mastery.

Today, Cade’s training focuses on progressions for the one-arm handstand, handstand pushups, gymnastic strength elements on rings, and a wide variety of flexibility movements. His style blends progressive strength principles with the playful, intuitive movement often found in yoga and dance—training not just for aesthetics or performance, but for connection and longevity.

Cade served five years in the Marine Corps, where he learned the value of consistency, mentorship, and grit. As a sergeant, he was responsible for training and leading Marines—an experience that now informs his calm, structured, and empathetic coaching style. He’s also a graduate student at the University of Washington, where he teaches computer science and mathematics, giving him a unique ability to break down complex movements into approachable steps.

Cade believes that everyone’s body is capable and resilient. His mission is to help clients build real strength through movement that is fun, sustainable, and grounded in deep respect for the body’s capacity to grow.

Small group personal training is the most popular way to train at our gyms! You’d train with a maximum of 3 other clients during your session. All of you will have completely different programs tailored to your individual goals, so you’ll never have the same workout program as other clients. During the session your coach will be evenly splitting the time spent with each person to ensure proper form, as well as give their feedback if correction is needed. We will help you find the best group to train with based on your availability and preferences.

WHAT EXERCISES WILL WE DO?

We will do exercises that will make you stronger—that is going to be the focus of your program. Getting stronger will help you grow muscle, which, in return, will help you lose fat due to an increase in your metabolism. Examples of such exercises are squats, push ups, pull ups, lunges as well as more advanced exercises such as human flag, muscle ups and pistol squats once you get stronger. Any time our clients can't do a certain exercise, we make them do a regressed version (elevated push up instead of floor push ups for example). When our clients can comfortably do the exercise, then we do a progression (pistol squats instead of regular squats). The goal is to get to the next level, no matter where you are starting.
