PHYSIQUE FROM CALISTHENICS

One of our coaches, Alex Ceban (blue shorts) participated in a WNBF Men's Physique Competition, where he placed 1st in the tall category! He was the only bodyweight athlete in his group, but that didn't stop him from winning. Prior to the show, he used the same strength training approach to loose fat that he has used many times with his clients. It is worth mentioning that Alex did exclusively bodyweight training (calisthenics) strength training program for 2 years straight prior to signing up for this physique show. He did it as an experiment to see if doing only calisthenics can work - it did.

Dave started doing personal training not being able to do pull ups and before he moved to a new city he was able to do over 6 pull ups. Calisthenics was all he did about 2-3 times per week of personal training.

“They accommodate your program to fit your abilities while also pushing you past them. I feel that their approach to exercise is about working with your body in an individualized way rather than trying to find a generic program that fits everyone.”

— Dave K.

Injury free training was important for this older client. He ended up getting strong enough to do some pull up variations, proper push ups and much more. He was able to avoid injuries very easy doing calisthenics training at the gym.

“They will take the time to understand your history and goals then will customize a program that fits your capabilities and schedule.”
